We strive to instill the values of integrity, service, and excellence in our cadets. Through a variety of activities, including leadership classes, drill and ceremonies, and physical fitness training, our students gain the skills they need to become successful leaders. In addition, AFJROTC offers unique life experiences and scholarships that help prepare cadets for college and beyond. We are committed to helping our cadets reach their full potential and serve their community.
AFJROTC offers four classes, Aerospace Science one through four. Each has an emphasis on a different life skill in addition to aerospace science.
Aerospace Science 1: Aviation History & Foundations of Citizenship
Aerospace Science 2: Science of Flight, Survival Skills, and Communication
Aerospace Science 3: Space Exploration and Life Skills
Aerospace Science 4: Cultural Studies, Fundamentals of Management, and Management of the Cadet Corps
Detailed information about each class can be found in Rockwood's course catalog, located here. To enroll, sign up through Infinite Campus like any other course. Note that all four levels will not be available concurrently. If you need help signing up, you are encouraged to reach out to Major Terri Zuber at zuberterri@rsdmo.org.
AFJROTC strives to create successful leaders outside of the classroom. One way we accomplish this is by instilling the Air Force's three core values of "Integrity First," "Service before Self," and "Excellence in All We Do" in all cadets.
