As part of the AFJROTC curriculum, the Air Force requires units to offer curriculum-in-action opportunities for cadets to participate in. In the past, the unit has visited locations such as Scott AFB, Dayton, OH, and the Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Additionally, the program offers exemplary cadets the opportunity to participate in an orientation flight with the Civil Air Patrol. As field trips usually have a maximum capacity and students will be required to miss class, those chosen to attend are expected to be performing well in all classes and actively engage in the program.Â
